Roxanne has contributed to the creation of this year's program for the Global Shrimp Forum and works as an independent advisor at Blue Biome Advising. She has dedicated her career to addressing complex environmental and social challenges facing our global food systems, both on land and at sea. With a background working at a diversity of organizations, including XpertSea, Thai Union, and Environmental Defense Fund, Roxanne bridges across sectors to build programs that benefit people and the planet, while fostering companies that can succeed in a rapidly changing world. She continues to lead wide-reaching initiatives to tackle climate change, better fishing and farming practices, financing a sustainable blue economy, traceability, and human rights. Her master's degree is in Environmental Management and International Development from Duke University.
