Patricio Salazar is the owner and president of GPS Group. Since 2014, he has been mostly active in innovation and sustainability solutions for agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial sectors.
He holds a degree in economics from ESPOL - Polytechnic School of Ecuador and a MBA from Catholic University of Chile.
Patricio started his career at LAN Airlines later as Regional Sales Director. After that, he also served for the Ministry of Commerce of Ecuador as Regional Commercial Ambassador for South America and the Caribbean and Director of Business Development and Foreign Investment.
In the last 10 years, GPS GROUP has evolved to become a vertically integrated business ecosystem playing a major role in Ecuador's shrimp and agriculture industry, facilitating its energy, technological, and ecological transition by providing comprehensive solutions and infrastructure.
Amid the energy crisis and climate change action, Patricio is committed to the vision of transforming the agro-industrial sector into a sustainable food producing system.
