Ravi Kumar Yellanki is the Managing Director of Vaisakhi Marine Resources Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading integrated aquaculture companies with interests in shrimp hatcheries, farming, seafood processing, and exports. With over three decades of experience in the shrimp industry, he has been at the forefront of advancing sustainable aquaculture practices, hatchery management, and shrimp seed production in India.
He currently serves as President of the All India Shrimp Hatcheries Association (AISHA) and is a Past President of the Society of Aquaculture Professionals (SAP). A respected industry leader, Ravi has actively contributed to policy advocacy, biosecurity initiatives, and the development of India’s shrimp aquaculture sector.
Under his leadership, Vaisakhi Marine Resources has expanded across the aquaculture value chain and recently entered shrimp processing with the resumption of operations at its state-of-the-art greenfield processing facility near Visakhapatnam.
