Jozua Koffeman joined Seafood Connection, a Europe based subsidiary of Maruha Nichiro Corporation, in October 2021. With history in sustainability communications, he realized that his passion was with fish, growing up in a historic fishing village. He now heads the Supply Chain Department as CSR Officer within Seafood Connection, alongside the Maruha Nichiro Sustainability Group. Seafood Connection is a seafood importer and distributor with a far reach, with nine sales entities scattered across the whole of Europe, two production facilities and four sourcing agencies based in Asia. Our local teams ensure top service and a deep understanding of each market. We are proud we supply the complete retail segment, increased our share of sustainably certified products with 25.7% from 2020 and that 1.63 million people in Europe enjoy our seafood daily.
