Gabriel is CEO at Acuamaya, Guatemala’s leading producer and exporter of sustainable, farm-raised shrimp and shrimp post-larvae and nauplii. He also believes in the importance of improving Guatemala and contributes his time as a Board Member of AGEXPORT (the Guatemalan Exporters Association) and as President of Empresarios por la Educación. He is also a member of CALI, the Central American Leadership Initiative, part of the Aspen Institute, seeking to promote value-based leadership in the region.

Gabriel has over 30 years of professional experience and has held a number of senior management positions with top Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble and Hewlett Packard, where he led and is credited for the successful and profitable introduction of the Pavilion line of Home PC's into the Latin American market. In the U.S., he has also contributed to the development of leading start-up technology companies like E2open (B2B Marketplace), Achex (Online Payments), and Ramp Networks (Networking Solutions).

Gabriel holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University (1996) and a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University (1991). In his spare time, he is an avid triathlete and ultra-marathoner, having now completed 6 full Ironman triathlons and over 20 marathons and ultras, including the famous Marathon Des Sables.
