Rachael Confair is the Trade Monitoring Branch Chief in the Office of International Affairs, Trade, and Commerce, with the U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries). As Branch Chief, Rachael helps implement NOAA's four seafood trade monitoring programs: the Antarctic Marine Living Resources Program, the Highly Migratory Species International Trade Program, the Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP), and the Tuna Tracking and Verification Program. Rachael joined NOAA in 2018 supporting SIMP and has over ten years of experience in the environmental health and conservation sectors, including working with seafood companies on traceability.
