David Danson

David Danson studied Fisheries and then specialized in Aquaculture at Aberdeen University, Scotland, UK. During his studies, he developed a real passion for aquaculture. With over twenty years of experience in the Atlantic salmon industry, David has witnessed and experienced firsthand the rapid consolidation of that industry on a global level. The most impressive aspect was how quickly the industry professionalized, leading to a wealth of investment and innovation, driving fast-paced advancements. For the past five years, David has focused on shrimp, developing Hendrix Genetics' shrimp activities around the globe.
