Maria Velkova

Maria Velkova heads the investment team of Aqua-Spark and is responsible for the growth and the success of the portfolio. She also sits on several boards of portfolio companies, working closely with the entrepreneurs. Maria has been working in the investment space since 2011 as part of the investment teams at several large infrastructure funds and banks. She has a solid financial and investment background and a good understanding of the growth and early-stage venture space. Maria is a firm believer in Aqua-Spark’s mission to move the aquaculture industry towards healthy, sustainable, affordable production while at the same time demonstrating comparable financial returns.
