In 2024, the Global Shrimp Forum announced that surplus funds from the event would be used to commission a follow-up to The Future Is in High Demand—a study aimed at further understanding shrimp consumption patterns, a key factor in strategic decision-making.

Coordinated with the Global Shrimp Council and conducted in part by Spheric Research, the project was once again developed by independent marketing and branding consultant Arnd Jan Gulmans.

The report focuses on the US market, offering valuable insights into demand trends, shifting consumer preferences, emerging opportunities, and key factors influencing purchasing behavior.
