Aditya Dash is the CEO of Ayana Seafood, the seafood trading division of the Suryo Group of companies, which has been in the seafood industry for more than 40 years.
Mr. Dash graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC, in 2006. He has also completed a certificate in sustainable aquaculture from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Additionally, he has an active interest in public policy and has completed a graduate certificate course in public policy from the Takshashila Institute in Bangalore.
Aquaculture is his passion. The Suryo Group has a vertically integrated value chain for vannamei shrimp, spanning from hatchery to finished product. Apart from seafood, the Suryo Group is involved in real estate, hospitality, and the media industry, based out of Odisha, India.
Mr. Dash was Vice Chairman of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), India’s trade promotion body for the export of marine products. He continues to serve as an Authority Member of MPEDA.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading about philosophy, history, and mythology. He also likes stand-up paddleboarding.
