Dane Klinger

Dane Klinger is Director of Aquaculture at Conservation International (CI), where he leads CI’s global programs on aquaculture governance and management, finance, and innovation. Dane is also an Affiliated Scholar at the Center for Food Security and the Environment at Stanford University, where his research investigates trends, opportunities, and challenges in the global aquaculture sector. He has worked with businesses, governments, foundations, NGOs, and universities in the United States and abroad to develop solutions to challenges in aquaculture and the global seafood trade. He serves on the Aquaculture Stewardship Council’s Technical Advisory Group and Seafood Watch’s Aquaculture Technical Advisory Committee.
