Katie is a finance and technology leader working to transform how the global aquaculture industry farms shrimp. As CEO of xpertSea and kampi, she’s applying her deep experience in digital transformation to bring AI and technification to the shrimp industry in order to help make shrimp supply chains more resilient, sustainable, and profitable.
Katie has worked to transform several industries through disruptive and innovative technology. Katie previously served as VP, Digital Product Management at Scotiabank, where she built collaborative product and customer experience strategies to transform digital banking. Prior to Scotiabank, Katie was the head of operations and CFO at Goldmoney Inc. (TSX:XAU), a Toronto-based fintech that operates the world's largest 100%-reserved gold-based savings platform and payments network. In addition to overseeing Goldmoney’s operations, Katie managed strategic growth initiatives and partnerships with financial institutions, wealth management providers, and payment processors.
